As the proud President of the Rotary Club of Mount Airy, I am honored to serve as we “Imagine” a new path forward. The state of our club is strong! We have many service-minded individuals who lead by example and make a real impact on our community. We are fortunate to live and serve a community that values the same core beliefs of Rotary International.

It’s important to remember who we are as we move forward.
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

1- Opioid response and education.
2- Youth services through Interact.
3- Literacy development through reading to local youth
4- Supporting district and international projects
5- Contributing to the Rotary Foundation
6- Exploring a satellite club
7- Support families with food insecurities
8- Membership care
9- and more…

We are excited about a new year with new goals supported by an amazing team. As we move forward and “Imagine” what Rotary can be, I encourage you to find your place to serve where your strengths shine. Remember, Service above Self and in all things we think, say, or do ask:

First, Is it the truth?
Second, Is it fair to all concerned?
Third, Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Fourth, Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
